Manchester Christmas Tree Pickup

The following information was provided by the City of Manchester in a press release.

The City provides free pickup service of Christmas trees for single family residences. 

Beginning on Monday, January 9, 2012, and until such time as one pass throughout the city has been completed, the Public Works Department will collect Christmas trees placed at the curb.

Please place your tree at the curb on Sunday evening, January 8th, as city staff will begin the program at 7:00 a.m. the next day. 

Due to the use of wire, pine roping and wreaths are not collected.

Please remove all decorations, the support stand, and plastic bag from the tree to be collected. 

In addition, Allied Waste will pick up Christmas trees cut into 4' lengths as yard waste on regularly scheduled collection days.
