The log cabin on Conway Road in Town and Country was disassembled Monday, Jan. 28 and moved to Drace Park for storage.

The cabin was found inside a home that was being demolished so Alderman Skip Mange spearheaded an effort to raise private funds to preserve the cabin.

More donations are still needed and can be made to the Town and Country Historical Society.

The Post-Dispatch also posted a video online of Mange explaining the process and history behind the cabin.
