West County Center is gearing up to celebrate its 10 year anniversary on September 20. Along with festive events planned for area families and shoppers, officials with the center are announcing two community outreach projects in an effort to raise $10,000 for Rebuilding Together-St. Louis. 

Westminster Christian Academy invites the community to attend its Open House on October 25 at 6:45 p.m.

The St. Louis Section of the National Council of Jewish Women is selected as the only finalist from Missouri in the Tom’s of Maine “50 States for Good” program and now has a chance to win up to $50,000 in support of Back to School Store, a community project that will provide children in need with the tools to return to school on the first day and stay in school all year long. 

announced three 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists: seniors Daniel L. Pollman, Anne R. Rebbe, and Megan C. Smith. The high school seniors are among 16,000 Semifinalists who have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 8,300 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million that will be offered next spring
