Police Blotter: Property Stolen, Damaged and Found

In the most recent Town and Country and Manchester police blotter, a reminder to lock car doors and police find bikes, but no owners.

Town and Country

April 30: 12200 and 12300 blocks of Ballas Lane

Burglary: Police said between 6 and 8 p.m,  two homes were burglarized while the residents were away. Investigators said thieves entered through an unlocked garage window in one residence and a landscaping stone was thrown through the window of the second house. Jewelry was stolen from both homes. No word on the value of the furniture. 

April 22 - 23: Barrett Station Road at Thornhill Drive

Police said three lawnmowers were stolen out of the barn of the farmhouse Barrett Station at Thornhill Road. Police don't know the exact time of the theft, but said it happened between 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday morning. 

April 14 - 15: 100 block of Summerhill Lane 

Sometime between 10 p.m. April 14 and 4 a.m. April 15, police report that someone entered two parked cars that had been left unlocked. Investigators said even though nothing was reported stolen, this incident serves as a reminder that thieves may be walking neighborhoods while people sleep. Residents are asked to remove all valuables from view and lock their doors.

Manchester

April 18: 800 block of Parkfield Terrace

Property Damage: A woman told police that someone spraypainted her car. There are no suspects. The value of the damage has not been determined.

April 16: 500 block of Chamberlin Drive

Theft: Police received a report that a car was broken into and an iPod was stolen. The item is valued at approximately $300.  

April 12: 800 block of Old Sulphur Springs Road

Found Property: Two bicycles are now at the Manchester Police Department after they were found on abandoned on the above property. Police have been unable to determine who owns the bikes. No value is given by police.

April 9: 1600 block of Brandon Park Drive

Property Damage: A man reported that the left front tire of his car was slashed. There are no suspects. The estimated value of the damage is $100.
