Summer may seem like a long way off, but now is the perfect time to think about what camp your child would like to attend. There are many camps to choose from right here in West County, from traditional outdoor day camps in the park to professionally instructed dance camps for aspiring ballerinas. Ages 3 to 8
Type of Camp: This gymnastics day camp lasts for three hours a day. Parents can schedule their children for one day or several weeks.

Type of Camp: This gymnastics day camp is offered Monday-Thursday. There are six weeks of camp for boys and girls, but kids can sign up for one to six weeks. Campers will do gymnastics, crafts and games.

Ages 3 to 18
Type of Camp: This theater day camp offers half and full-day programs depending on kids' ages. Stages has several camps, from “Dog Days of Summer” for kids 3 to 5 to  “Intensive Acting for Teens” for 13 to 18. Camps are offered all summer long and are for all levels of experience. Most camps end with a performance.

Type of Camp: During this dance day camp campers learn ballet, jazz, modern and ballroom dance. Three weeks of the class are offered. A one week, half day Princess Class is offered for girls 3 to 6 and mixes dance, crafts and story time.

Ages 3 to 12
Type of Camp: The department offers daycamp, tennis camp, cheer camp, sports camp, and camp broadway. Manchester’s parks department is offering a variety of camps to appeal to all kids. Day Camp offers crafts, games, swimming and field trips. Specialized camps will focus on skills. All camps are outdoors.
