National Drug Take-Back Event Saturday

Saturday, anyone can drop off any and all old prescription drugs at the Manchester Police Department with no questions asked.

Saturday, the national drug take-back event will take place across the country, including in Manchester.

The Drug Enforcement Administration, or DEA, is working with local organizations and setting up sites in communities around the country where the public can bring unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs for safe disposal. All drugs can be dropped off with no questions asked and at no cost.

The goal of this one-day event is to bring national attention to the issue of controlled substances abuse. The program provides an opportunity for community agencies to collaborate and establish a safe collection site for everyone, regardless of where they reside.
