Manchester Homecoming Festival Kicks Off Friday Night

The festival runs all weekend and the Manchester Homecoming Parade is Saturday. Check out festival times, events and the parade route here.

The 26th annual Manchester Homecoming Festival kicks of Friday night and runs all weekend at  It takes place Sept. 7, 8 and 9.

Following at the festival hours for this weekend.

  • Friday: 6 - 11:30 p.m.
  • Sat.: Noon - 11:30 p.m.
  • Sun.: Noon - 5 p.m.

In addition to booths, rides and all kinds of food and drinks, the celebration features contests, a raffle and live entertainment.

Parking for the event will be available at the park ballfield (however that will be closed if it rains) and at a number of churches along Meramec Station Road where shuttles will bring guests to the festival. (See the parking map included in the PDF portion of this article for specific details.)

The Manchester Homecoming Parade is 9 a.m., Saturday. It begins at  at Baxter and Manchester roads and ends at . The parade will close Baxter Road and Henry Avenue for a short period of time. (The parade route is included in the PDF portion of this article.)

Information on the event is a little tricky to find on the city's website, but the following are instructions that will help.

For more details on the festival, including events, click here to visit the City of Manchester's website. Once on the site, click on "City Departments" in the left column, then "Parks & Recreation," then "Homecoming Celebration." That will give you the option to view Manchester Homecoming events and schedules.
