Lane Closures at Highway 40 and Route 141

The following road closures along Highway 40 take effect Tuesday night through the rest of the week.

The (MoDOT) has scheduled road repairs along Highway 40 in West County this week. Lanes will close in several locations as crews work on pavements repairs, weather permitting.

In a press release, MoDOT said following road closures take effect Tuesday night through the rest of the week.

  • Crews will close the left  lane of southbound Route 141 between the Highway 40 overpass and the exit to South Woods Mill Road at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Crews will close a second left lane at 8 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday.
  • Crews will close the right lane of northbound Route 141 between Bromfield Terrace Road and Burwick Terrace Road at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The left turn from southbound Route 141 to Carman Road will be closed, but drivers will be able to access Carman Road from northbound Route 141. All lanes will be reopened by 5 a.m. the following day.
  • Crews will close the right lane of westbound Highway 40 between Spoede Road and the Ballas exit at 7 p.m. Friday. Crews will close a second right lane at 9 p.m. The Ballas exit will remain open, but drivers will have to access the exit after the work area. All lanes will reopen by noon, Saturday.
