Big Boy was found running as a stray on Interstate 44 with his mother. His mom was adopted but he had to stay at the shelter for awhile because he had heartworm. Big Boy announces himself when he comes into a room and loves to search all the play areas with that big nose. He loves people, but is not fond of cats. He will catch a ball twice and then move on to sniffing the ground. He is a lovable pooch and is looking for that forever home. Big Boy is currently cared for by the Coalition for Animal Rescue and Education.
You can meet pets looking for good homes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at the Manchester Highland's PetSmart. The Coalition for Animal Rescue and Education has pets available for adoption at that location every Saturday except for holidays.
