Westminster Students Recognized as National Merit High Scorers

Six Westminster Christian Academy junior students were recently recognized as high scorers by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

Caroline Agan, Alexander Kessel, Ciarra Peters, Kevin Stump, Christine Talent, and Jacob Waller were among 1.5 million entrants who completed the PSAT/NMSQT exam this year. All six Westminster students joined 50,000 of the highest scoring test takers in the nation.

In fall 2014, these Westminster students will be recognized in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Approximately 16.000 students will be named National Merit Program Semifinalists, representing the top scorers in each state. Nearly 34,000 others will be commended for their performance results.

Semifinalists and commended students in the 2015 National Merit Program will be informed of their standing in September.
