Westminster Christian Academy graduate hosts upcoming book signings for debut novel

Local author Rachel Wisdom, 24, recently released her debut novel A Shopkeeper’s Daughter through WestBow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson.

Wisdom will hold two upcoming book signings on May 10 from 2-4 p.m. at Pastries of Denmark in Creve Coeur, and on May 31 from 1-3 p.m. at Barnes & Noble in St. Peters.

Wisdom began writing the novel her freshman year (2008) at Washington University in St. Louis and completed it the week she graduated. The novel tells the true story of a young seamstress who fell in love with the Crown Prince of Norway – a secret relationship that soon became the scandal of the century.
