Westminster Christian Academy 2013 alumni Rachel Gantner, Jocelyn Sheffield, and Noah Roberts, freshman at the University of Tulsa, and 2011 alumnus Thomas Porter, a senior at TU, were recently awarded for their academic and service endeavors.
Each year, the University recognizes ten outstanding freshman students for the Top Ten Freshman Award, for their commitment to success on campus and in the community. Selected students are chosen by a faculty committee of the University of Tulsa and presented the award at the University’s homecoming celebration each year.
Likewise, no more than ten seniors are selected each year for the Jess Chouteau Outstanding Senior Award, for exceptional academic and community achievement. Winners of the award are chosen by alumni of the University and recognized at homecoming.
