Community Corner
Local Churches and Organizations are Serving Up Love and Kindness to the Greater St. Louis Community
Christian believers across the St. Louis metro area will be joining forces on October 12 and 13, 2013, to serve the community through a variety of needs-based projects. More than 8,000 individuals will have the opportunity to participate at over 500 worksites throughout the area.
Serve St. Louis is supported entirely by Christian churches, organizations, and companies representing multiple locations and denominations. The weekend will be the first of a region-wide event to connect churches and individuals in a joint effort to serve the greater St. Louis community through local missions.
With hundreds of projects currently listed, the opportunities for involvement are numerous and diverse. Projects range from relational - visiting the sick and elderly or helping with childcare, to practical - building, painting, cooking, and cleaning.
