The Community Music School of Webster University welcomes the Euclid Quartet for a repeat appearance as String Quartet-in-Residence at its 5th annual St. Looey Chamber Blitz, presented as part of the Preparatory Program.
This year's concert, features the Euclid Quartet performing the Haydn String Quartet in d minor, Op. 103, movements of the Wynton Marsalis String Quartet No. 1 "At the Octoroon Balls:" Hellbound Highball, and Rampart St. Row House Rag, first movement of the Dvorák Piano Quintet in A major, Op. 81, Ralph Vaughan Williams Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis, and a commissioned work Symphonies of Stringed Instruments by James Leatherbarrow.
