The February Green Speaker event has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 26, at 7 p.m. at Longview Farm Park, 13525 Clayton Road, Town & Country, MO 63141. Kathleen Logan Smith, Director of Environmental Policy at the Missouri Coalition for the Environment, will give an update on the status and science of genetically modified foods and crops. Are they safe? How should they be labeled? How do they affect the environment?

More About Longview Farm Park
This park is unique, with its horse stable on property and horses grazing in the field on park grounds. When arriving at the park, you drive by the Longview Farm House and the stables. The is also no shortage of dogs at this park, but they are required to be on leashes. The walking path is full of locals enjoying the park's green pastures with their best friends. It also has picnic pavilion, playground, restrooms, tennis court and a lake.
