The CBC Cadets will try to prove Friday night that you can defeat the same opponent three times in a single season when they take their 14-4 record on the road to Chaminade for a Metro Catholic Conference clash against the Red Devils.
Chaminade (12-7) is a different looking squad than the one which fell to CBC in a a pair of matchups early in the season, with the move of freshman Jayson Tatum to the point guard position. The 6-6 phenom has posed matchup problems for shorter opponents since the switch, and has also been something of a late-game hero for the Red Devils with a pair of buzzer beating shots in recent weeks.
The move has freed up Chaminade's cast, including Grant Hollander, Damon Patterson and Andy Kleinlein. Freshmen Tyler Cook and Will Gladson, who like Tatum project as future Division I talents, have also made big contributions in the frontcourt. That trio will face CBC's group of DI prospects--Juniors Jordan Barnett, Patrick McCaw and Ray Doby.
