Town and Country police warn of a number of recent thefts and a report of an unidentified man in the area.
The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department.
Town and Country police sent out an email alert Wednesday warning residents of a number of thefts in close proximity this week.
As previously reported by Patch, police were investigating after a computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Cheshire Farm which is off Conway Road just west of Mason Road. That crime happened during the overnight hours of Feb. 9 to Feb. 10.
Wednesday, police said they received more details, including additional reported thefts in the area and information that an "unidentified" man was seen walking in the area around 3 a.m., Sunday.
Following are some of the details included in the email alert sent out by Town and Country police.
Earlier this week we reported that a theft occurred on Cheshire Farm near Conway and Mason (see below). We received a delayed report that on the same date and during the same time frame thefts from unlocked vehicles also occurred in the same area on Wyndmoor Terrace Court.
Police said said numerous items were stolen from the vehicles parked in the same driveway in the 300 block of Wyndmoor Terrace Court, including a Garmin GPS device and money.
Police urge residents to call 911 immediately if they observe suspicious activity, or contact Town and Country police dispatch at (314) 737-4600.
