Several Randy Jotte campaign signs in the 2nd Congressional District, which covers Town and Country and Manchester, have been reportedly removed, campaign officials say.

Jotte, of Webster Groves, is one of four candidates seeking the Republican nomination for the district on Aug. 7.

He told Patch the missing signs are in the Ladue and Chesterfield areas.

The campaign is inserting iSign chips in some of the replacement signs, which can be tracked by an iPhone app.

Campaign officials say there will be a penalty for anyone caught removing the signs. The guilty partry/parties will be responsible for removing all the campaign signs on Aug. 8.
