Readers' Choice 2012: Who Has the Best St. Louis-Style Pizza?

Squares everywhere! Help us find the best St. Louis-style pizza in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Thin, crispy, square and with lots of Provel cheese. St. Louis-style pizza may not be as famed as New York’s or Chicago’s, but hey, at least we have our own.

In a town with hundreds of pizza parlors, however, it can be difficult to find the best St. Louis-style pizza in the area. So we are asking you, our readers, to give us a hand and tell us your favorite place to have a square of pizza in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

All you have to do is go to the comments section of this story and tell us the name of your favorite St. Louis-style pizza vendor. Please don't forget to tell us why you favor the place you nominated!

Nominations can be made from today until July 9. Voting will begin thereafter. Make sure to tell all your friends and family to participate.

Lou Boccardi's Italian Restaurant on Magnolia, on the Hill, has the best. They use the St. Louis Cheese (provel) and have a thin crusted pizza. Second Best is Imo's in Webster Groves. For the same reasons.

I must say all I want for dinner right now is a gigantic thin crust pizza from any of these places. I'm also a big fan of Stefanina's in O'Fallon or Wentzville! Their pizza is outstanding!
