Police Searching for Town and Country Bank Robbery Suspect

Town and Country police say the First Bank in Lamp & Lantern Village was robbed around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.

 

Town and Country police say the First Bank at 383 Lamp & Lantern Village was robbed around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities are not releasing specific details on the robbery, but tell Patch a weapon was implied.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video before fleeing on foot, according to investigators. A photo is included in this article.

The bank is located near the intersection of Woods Mill and Clayton Roads.

Town and Country detectives are searching for the suspect, described as a female wearing heavy makeup and a wig, in her mid 20s to early 30s, 5-feet to 5-foot-three inches with a slender build. Police said she was reportedly wearting a dark colored hooded jacket and red wire rim glasses.
