The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.
Police said several mailboxes were damaged along a two to three block area and a vehicle was dented by apparently being kicked. There are two suspects, but police need more witnessed to come forward.
According to Manchester Police Captain Charles Hunn, the vandalism and property damage took place overnight in the 1200 block Lombez Drive and 800 block of Garonne Drive. Police were called early June 1.
"It's an active investigation. They've got two suspects. A lot of them didn't want to report, no one has come forward," Hunn tells Patch. "However they do have some forensic evidence that they're tying to tie to the two suspects."
Hunn said investigators believe the alleged suspects were headed to an address on Garonne when the crimes were committed. Both are Manchester "youths," Hunn said. The names are not being released because no charges have been filed.
"It appears they were in route to one of the...residences on Garonne and along the way it's possible this damage occurred as a result of these two," Hunn tells Patch.
No word on what was used to damage the property.
