Manchester Property Damage Caught on Camera

A number of recent property damage calls have come into Manchester police, including car clotting one crime caught on surveillance video at the Manchester Aquatic Center.

 

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

July 8: 1200 block Forest Parkway Drive

Property Damage: A resident called police and said the passenger side window of his car was broken out. However, the victim’s wallet and GPS which were in the car were not stolen.

July 7: 300 block Old Meramec Station Road

Property Damage: A surveillance camera caught someone climbing the fence at the Manchester Aquatic Center pool. A flower pot was broken during the trespassing. Police are investigating.

July 7: 700 block Westbrook Village Drive

Tampering with Private Property/Property Damage: Police received a call of "car clotting," when someone smashes a window and steals contents from the car, in progress. When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect had already fled. The owner said appeared to have been stolen.

July 4: 800 block Garonne Drive

Property Damage: A stop sign and the ground were spray painted. A canvas of the neighborhood by police did not turn up any suspects.
