Manchester Police Busy With Car-Related Crimes

More than $500 reportedly disappeared from a rental car, while a number of residents recently reported property damage to their vehicles.

 

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Feb. 1: 1100 block Dauphine Lane

Property Damage: Detectives are investigating after the passenger window of a vehicle was broken out. However, nothing was reportedly stolen. 

Feb. 2: 14400 block Manchester Road

Stealing: Police said cash and checks totaling $540 were reportedly left in a rental car when it was returned, but then could not be found during its inspection.

Feb. 2: 1200 block Wood Station Place

Property Damage: Police said suspects were identified in connection to overnight damage to a vehicle parked in a driveway. Police said the suspects are making restitution.

Feb. 4: 500 block Cardinal Lane 

Stealing: A vehicle parked in a driveway had its front license plate stolen overnight.
