Man Pawned Jewelry Stolen in Manchester Burglary, Police Say

Jahmil Perkins is being held in St. Louis County jail on a $20,000 bond.

 

The following information was supplied by court documents. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Manchester police found a Ballwin man sold several items stolen in a burglary, an officer said.

Jahmil Perkins, 35, of the 200 block of Solon Drive in Ballwin, was charged Feb. 8 with receiving stolen property.

Manchester Police said Perkins sold jewelry, including silver chains, which were stolen from a home in Manchester during a recent burglary. Police said he sold the jewelry at a store at 14360 Manchester Road.

Perkins told police the jewelry belonged to his family.

Perkins was being held at St. Louis County jail Friday. Bail was set at $20,000, cash only.
