A Rock Hill man, who was charged with driving drunk in Town and Country, faces what would be his third driving while intoxicated incident if he’s convicted.

James Gianoulakis, 32, of the 2700 block of Bremerton Road in Rock Hill, was charged March 7 with DWI as a persistent offender. He has two previous DWI convictions, one in April 2012 in Franklin County and another in 2003 in Columbia, MO.

Town and Country Police said officers spotted Gianoulakis’ car swerving at Town and Country Crossing and Highway 141 on August 14. Police said he admitted drinking and then did poorly on sobriety tests. He refused a Breathalyzer test, officers said.

Bail was set at $20,000 for Gianoulakis.

There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again.
