Man Charged With Assault in DUI Crash That Injured Passenger
Police said the driver had slurred speech, smelled of alcohol and refused to take a breathalyzer in the Town and Country crash on I-270.
A Waterloo, IL man faces criminal charges in an accident at Interstate 64 and I-270 in Town and Country. Police said he was driving while intoxicated.

Ryan Williams, 24, was charged Friday with second-degree assault in the May 17 accident.
Town and Country Police said a passenger in Williams' car had cuts and bruises after Williams drove into a guardrail on a ramp leading from I-64 onto I-270. An officer said Williams had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol and refused to take a breathalyzer test.
Bond was set at $7,500 for Williams.
