Henry Avenue Project, $118K Plus in Road Repairs Before Manchester Aldermen

Among items on the agenda, aldermen are set to discuss spending more than $118,694 on repairs to Glan Tai and Big Bend Woods roads.
They will also hear from the owner of Scotty's Fresh Produce Market and Deli who just opened a second location in Manchester. As previously reported by Patch, Scotty's owner Mark Sgroi opened the store this month.

Aldermen are also set to vote on authorizing the city engineer to apply for a grant to fund approximately 80 percent of the Henry Avenue road improvement plan estimated to cost $712,500. If the grant is received, the city's portion of the project would be approximately $142,500.
