Guns Go Missing From Manchester Home
Manchester police are investigating after two guns go missing from a Manchester home.
The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.
A resident from the 700 block of Stone Canyon Drive notified police on June 11 that two of his handguns were missing. However, it's not clear how long the guns were gone.
"The last time the guy says he saw the guns was in November of 2011, just after deer season," Manchester Police Captain Charles Hunn tells Patch.
Hunn said there are no suspects and there was no evidence of forced entry into the home.
"He has family members that visit him on a regular basis. They've all been interviewed and they all say they have no knowledge of how they disappeared," Hunn said.
Detectives have the serial numbers of the guns and are working on the case.
"Checked all the pawn shops, all the regular routine stuff that you do," Hunn explained.
This case is still under investigation.
