Gun Stolen From Car in Manchester
Police said a handgun was stolen from an unlocked car in Manchester.
The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Manchester Police tell Patch, the gun was reported stolen Sept. 3 from the 1600 block of Country Hill Lane.
Detectives are investigating the theft, after the handgun disappeared from an unlocked vehicle overnight. According to authorities, the gun was not in a gun case, and there is no law requiring people to lock up their guns.

Police tell me, if you have to have a conceal carry permit a gun can be with you in your car and it doesn't need to be locked.
