Suspicious Person Arrested After Returning to Town and Country
Police say Friday's arrest and other incidents indicate there is a group in the area scoping out homes to target for criminal activity.
The following information was supplied by the Town and Country Police Department.
Town and Country police sent out an email alert Friday stating they arrested a woman for trespassing after she was found behind a home in the 12800 block of Thornhill Court. Police said this woman is believed to be the same woman spotted in the area Thursday which prompted an alert to residents warning of suspicious activity in the area.

In Friday's email alert, authorities stated the 56-year- old woman was stopped as she left the neighborhood and subsequently arrested for trespassing. She was driving a black Mercedes 220 series, according to police.
Police said this incident, along with other reports in the area, indicate there is a group in the area engaging in similar behavior, which includes making inquiries about vacant houses and homes for sale.
"Several of the incidents, including the Town and Country incidents, involve a black Mercedes passenger vehicle," the email alert stated.
Detectives are investigating and asking residents who notice or have noticed any suspicious activity to contact authorities immediately.
