"It's my understanding they've signed the lease and they're currently designing the restaurant," Rothmel said.

The new restaurant will incorporate the former locations of Eugene's Custard (which closed last year) and Three Dog Bakery (which has moved to a new location in the shopping center), plus a third building that will be constructed to the east of those two locations near the shopping center lake.

"It was always intended that that area would be used for a restaurant," Rothmel said.

"I think it will be an asset ot the region," Rothmel said. "We're very enthusiastic to see...a unique restaurant come to our community. We're excited. It will be a wonderful addition to Town and Country Crossing and we continue to be pleased with the success of Town and Country Crossing."

According to the restaurant chain's website, it currently has 11 locations in five states and plans to open four more locations, including the Town and Country location.
