Charges Filed in Attempted Robbery, Assault Caught on Police Dash Cam
Demetrie Thomas is now charged in connection to the incident where he allegedly assaulted a woman in a Town and Country neighborhood and tried to rob her.
The attack happened happened May 16 and the suspect was caught on police dash came fleeing the incident.

As previously reported by Patch, Town and Country police said they were called to the 14200 block of Willowbend Park just after 11:30 p.m. for a male assaulting a screaming female outside. When the officer arrived on the scene, the suspect fled (watch dash video included in this article), but was later identified as Demetrie Thomas, 17, of the 14300 block of Willowbend Park in Town and Country.
He was arrested the following day.
The Town and Country police probable cause statement said that Thomas "grabbed her from behind, threw her down, demanded oral sex and her cell phone." He also told her he had a gun.
Town and Country police report Thursday that the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneys Office issued warrants against Thomas this week. He is charged with first degree attempted forcible sodomy and first degree attempted robbery.
Thomas remains in the St. Louis County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
