Bistro 1130 - Did You Know?

Each week 'Town and Country - Manchester Patch' plans to highlight and have a litte fun with a local business. Have a business Patch should visit? Post it in the comments below!

Bistro 1130 is under new managment as of January 2012.  That includes new Executive Chef Kevin Taylor Jr.

The restaurant is located next to the lake and fountain in Town and Country Crossing.

This is a bistro-style restaurant that offers an "ingredient driven, globally inspired menu," according to Taylor.

The restaurant also runs a sustainable fresh fish program.

It offers filet mignon, lamb chops and fresh seafood plates. Staff can recommend the perfect wine to accompany your dinner choice.

Bistro 1130 offers an extensive european and american wine list, plus monthly wine tastings. Visit the restaurant's website on its Patch business listing, or call to find out more about the tastings.

PATCH Q & A (With Executive Chef Kevin Taylor Jr.):

Patch Question: What's been your greatest challenge?

Answer: The transition from find dining to bistro style food. The fine dining...to me, being 26 years old, we weren't very approachable to different groups. It was really the refining of the food. We haven't gotten away from food service standards, it's just more casual atmosphere.

Patch Question: What keeps you up at night?

Answer: Nothing, until August when my little son comes around.
