Attempted "Stickup" Has Police Searching For a Suspect

Town and County police are searching for suspects after two separate incidents at Town and Country Crossing this past weekend.

Town and County police are searching for a suspect after a woman said a man tried to rob her at Town and Country Crossing.

Police said the incident happened Saturday around 11:25 a.m. in the parking lot of 1272 Town and Country Crossing Drive.

The woman told police a man approached her as she was getting into her car and told her it was a “stickup.” Authorities said the victim pulled away from the man, then sounded her car horn. The man walked away without ever displaying a weapon.

The woman said the man was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses and a gray sweater. He drove off in a red Ford Ranger pickup truck with a camper shell on the back.
