The high school football-season is in full-tilt, which means area athletes are tearing up the grid iron and making highlight reel plays.

We want to know which athlete fared the best over the weekend.

We're taking athletes from Maryland Heights Patch, Creve Coeur Patch, Chesterfield Patch, Town and Country-Manchester Patch and Ballwin-Ellisville Patch and finding out which ones are the best, according to the fans.

 Here are the nominees: 

Roderick Hoskins, Parkway North: Hoskins scored three first half touchdowns in North's 42-7 win over Parkway West on Friday. Hoskins scored in runs of 3-, 16- and 7-yards out. Overall, Hoskins rushed for 117 yards on 15 carries. That was better than the entire rushing corps of Parkway West combined.

Jonathan Parker, CBC: Parker rushed 15 times for 118 yards in CBC's conference title win over De Smet and scored four times. Parker scored on runs of 36- and 9-yards; caught a touchdown pass from 76-yards out; and returned a kickoff for 95 yards. On the night, he had 281 total yards.

Jonathan Bonner, Parkway Central: Bonner was a beast on the field Saturday against University City. He caught caught three passes for 89 rushing yards—all of them for touchdowns. Bonner was on the receiving end of Zack Lazenby on scores from 12-, 32- and 45-yards out. Central defeated U. City 42-6.

Justin Smith, Chaminade: Chaminade barely eaked out a win over Vianney on Friday in a 28-26 affair. And it was Smith's 5-yard rushing score that secured the victory late in the third quarter.
