Parkway South Teacher Qualifies for U.S. Olympic Trials

Parkway South High School math teacher Adam MacDowell recently completed the Chicago Marathon, finishing 16th overall in an elite international field of nearly 36,000 racers.
He was the fifth U.S. finisher, running a time of 2:18.47, which qualifies him for the U.S. Olympic Trials.
MacDowell is also the varsity cross country head coach and track assistant coach at South High.
